CHAPTERS FROM BOOKS

Marta Felber's two books on grief have entirely different formats. Grief Expressed: When a Mate Dies is the actual grief work completed by the author in the first years after her husband's death. Each of the 54 chapters represents a problem or situation she faced, and how she worked through it. On each right hand page the reader is invited to do his/her own work, by the author's side.

Finding Your Way After Your Spouse Dies is a conversational type book. The author "visits" with the person in grief, as if in the kitchen, over a cup of tea. The 64 chapters are short, and contained on the two open pages, making focusing easier. Everything is offered as gentle "suggestions you may want to try." There are scripture references and a short prayer presented at the end of each chapter, for possible use also.
